Com Truise
Performing under the name Com Truise (a spoonerism of the American actor’s name “Tom Cruise”), Seth Haley performed a synth and warped bass-heavy set, something Cruise has dubbed as “mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion funk.” His set also included projected visuals that were reminiscent of the 1980’s retro-futuristic aesthetic.

ford.
Signed to Foreign Family Collective, a label curated by the ODEZSA duo Clay Thompson and Harrison Mills, ford. (19-year-old Luc Bradford) filled the upstairs of Gabe’s with euphoric, yet contemplative beats. ford. is known for his international background, producing music across the world in a fusion of “hip hop, atmospheric instrumentation, and simple yet poignant electric production.”

Thoma
Thoma is the duet project of Tristan Francois de Liege and Benjamin Hill. Thoma’s sound is meditative yet dynamic, blending sounds of nature with blissful beats. The two produce in Detroit and Los Angeles, and their most recent album, Salt Spring, is set to release in November of this year. The group’s self-proclaimed inspiration relies heavily on techno and international house roots.
